CADRIL — mid-early three-line hybrid corn, intended for grain and silage production. The plant reaches a height of 220–230 cm, has a weak bushy type, which ensures resistance to lodging and damage under adverse weather conditions. Leaves are broad, with up to 16 leaves on the main stem, and the first tassels are located at a height of 0.8–0.9 m. The ear is of medium length and thickness, cylindrical in shape with a well-developed tip, containing many rows of kernels. The grain is intermediate in type, closer to dent, with yellow upper and orange lower parts; 1000-kernel weight is 250–260 g. The hybrid’s vegetation period is about 118 days, corresponding to a mid-early maturity stage. CADRIL demonstrates high yield — average grain yield reaches 79.5 c/ha, maximum — 118.2 c/ha. Grain moisture at harvest is about 26.9%. The hybrid has moderate drought resistance, disease resistance for cereal crops, and pest resistance, as well as low susceptibility to smut and Fusarium ear rot. Due to these characteristics, CADRIL is suitable for cultivation in steppe and forest-steppe zones, as well as in the Polissia region. CADRIL corn is versatile in application: its seeds are suitable for grain production and for obtaining silage with silage yields ranging from 45 to 60 t/ha. High productivity and adaptability make this hybrid an attractive choice for farmers aiming to achieve a stable and high-quality corn harvest under various climatic conditions.
