Maize KIDEMOS

Stable grain yields with KWS Kidemos

The «Kidemos» hybrid from the German breeder KWS is designed for growers who prioritize reliability and plant health. As a medium-early simple hybrid focused strictly on grain production, it meets the needs of farms looking for predictable results without unnecessary risks.

Crop health as a priority

The key advantage of «Kidemos» lies in its genetically determined resistance. In environments with high humidity and significant disease pressure, where many other hybrids underperform, this variety maintains high immunity against:

• Fusarium ear rot;
• Stalk rot;
• Bacteriosis.

These traits make it an excellent choice for regions with a high risk of disease, where standard fungicide protection may not be sufficient. Furthermore, «Kidemos» demonstrates good tolerance to European corn borer damage, which reduces the need for intensive insecticide applications and prevents harvest losses due to lodging.

Who is this hybrid for?

«Kidemos» is optimal for farmers employing classic grain corn production techniques. Its medium-early maturity allows for flexible harvesting schedules. This hybrid does not require complex management but rewards the grower with stable kernel filling when basic crop rotation and soil quality standards are met. If your priority is a healthy, robust crop with minimal risk of lodging and harvest losses, «Kidemos» provides a solid foundation for your farm's productivity.
