Corn hybrid KCC 5552 is a medium-early simple modified hybrid designed for grain production. The plant is tall, with an ear of medium length. The grain is flinty; the upper part of the grain is colored orange and the cob axis is also colored. The hybrid is characterized by resistance to such diseases as southern helminthosporiosis, bacterial blight and ear fusarium, which ensures crop reliability.
The average grain yield is 41.4 centners per hectare, exceeding the standard rate by 1.4 centners. The plant has weak or medium anthocyanin coloration of the first leaf sheath, and the leaf is curved with an angle between the leaf blade and stem from medium to large. The tip of the leaf is rounded, which is a characteristic morphological feature of this hybrid.
KCC 5552 corn seeds are supplied in packs of 50 thousand grains, pretreated and intended for spring sowing. This planting material provides a quality start and contributes to obtaining stable yields under conditions of the North Caucasus region.
