Corn KWS Campinos is a high-yielding, intensive-type hybrid primarily intended for grain use. This mid-early hybrid is characterized by high drought tolerance and enhanced resistance to stem borer damage, ensuring stable yields even under adverse conditions. Plants reach a height of 290 to 320 cm, and the kernel type varies from horny to dent, contributing to high quality and grain yield.

The hybrid features a high 1000-grain weight, ranging from 315 to 370 grams, as well as rapid moisture loss, which facilitates harvesting and reduces losses. Seeding rate depends on moisture conditions: 60-70 thousand plants per hectare is recommended under adequate moisture, while 75-80 thousand under limited moisture. Maximum grain yield reaches 14.3 tons per hectare at 14% moisture, with a grain extraction rate of approximately 80.6%. Additionally, the hybrid has high starch content (about 73.6%) and protein content (about 8.68%), making it valuable for producing high-quality grain.

KWS Campinos is suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones, including the Polesie, forest-steppe, and steppe regions. It is recommended for both grain and silage use, with a seeding rate up to 110 thousand plants per hectare for silage purposes. Its high yield potential, stress tolerance, and superior grain quality make this hybrid an attractive choice for farmers seeking a stable and high yield.
