Yield stability under stress: LG31221

French breeding by Limagrain has long been synonymous with reliability in the field, and the LG31221 hybrid is a prime example. This simple grain corn hybrid is designed primarily for growers working in regions with moderate drought risk and irregular moisture levels.

What sets this hybrid apart?

• Moisture release potential: One of the key characteristics that distinguishes LG31221 from its peers is its dynamic grain moisture release during maturation. This reduces drying costs and allows for an earlier entry into the field for harvesting.
• Adaptability: The hybrid performs consistently on various soil types, demonstrating stable yields even in seasons where other hybrids suffer from heat stress.
• Agronomic reliability: This simple hybrid possesses high early vigor, which is critical when planting in cool soil. A sturdy stem minimizes lodging risks, simplifying harvest and reducing field losses.

Who is this hybrid for?

LG31221 is a rational choice for farms where a predictable result is the priority. It does not require extremely high investments in intensive technologies to achieve good tonnage. If your goal is to obtain high-quality grain without any unpleasant surprises by the end of the season, this hybrid will become the "workhorse" of your crop rotation. However, it is worth noting that the yield potential is best realized when optimal planting densities are maintained; excessive plant populations can negatively affect ear development during stress periods.
