Fabula

Fabula is a hybrid corn variety designed for grain and silage production, featuring high agronomic and economic characteristics. Plants reach a height of about 200 cm, with ears up to 24 cm long and conical-cylindrical shape, ensuring easy harvesting and high yield. The kernels have a Soft-Flint type with starch content around 71% and protein 12-14%, making this hybrid versatile for various uses, including grain and silage production. Fabula demonstrates high adaptability to resource-saving technologies and optimal early growth rate at soil temperatures from 8 to 10°C. The hybrid shows excellent resistance to stress factors and diseases, including drought tolerance, heat tolerance, and cold tolerance at level 7-8, as well as high resistance to lodging and common diseases such as smut, rust, and helminthosporium. This ensures stable yields and product quality even under adverse climatic conditions. Planting density is 95-105 thousand per hectare, which contributes to achieving a potential yield of up to 12 tons of grain and 60 tons of silage per hectare. Fabula is suitable for cultivation in all regions with various agronomic conditions, thanks to its versatility and resilience. The hybrid is recommended for intensive and medium technologies of cultivation, enabling efficient utilization of its potential.
