FARMADOR

Corn FARMADOR is a mid-early, high-yielding hybrid corn hybrid selected by KWS, intended for grain production and feed. This hybrid features a powerful, tall plant of 270-290 cm with ears positioned at 100-110 cm. Ears are medium-long and cylindrical, forming 12-14 rows of dent kernels with 1000-kernel weight ranging from 270 to 360 g. The vegetation period is 112-124 days, enabling adaptation to various climatic conditions in Ukraine. The grain has high starch content and rapid moisture reduction upon maturation, reducing costs for drying and pre-harvest desiccation. Hybrid FARMADOR exhibits high plasticity and resistance to adverse factors, including drought, lodging, and diseases such as stalk rot, rust, and helminthosporium, with resistance reaching 9 out of 9 points. It demonstrates the Stay Green effect, allowing plants to retain green biomass until harvest, contributing to stable water release and high dry matter yield. The hybrid is tolerant to synthetic auxins and ALS inhibitors, withstands cold well, and develops rapidly in early growth stages, making it suitable for early planting and cultivation under medium and intensive technologies. Recommended plant density at harvest depends on moisture conditions: in adequately moist zones, optimal density is 75-85 thousand plants per hectare, while in less moist zones — 50-60 thousand plants per hectare. Grain yield potential reaches 140 ц/ha, making FARMADOR an attractive choice for farmers seeking high and stable yields under various agroclimatic conditions. Due to its characteristics and adaptability, this hybrid is successfully grown throughout all regions of Ukraine.
