ES GENTLEMAN

The hybrid maize ES GENTLEMAN belongs to the mid-early maturity group with high yield potential and universal use, primarily for grain production. It is characterized by a strong root system and high initial growth energy, ensuring good plant establishment and rapid development. This hybrid is adapted to various soil types and climatic conditions, making it suitable for cultivation in the Polissia and Forest-Steppe regions of Ukraine. Plant height reaches approximately 285 cm, and the grain type is cream-colored with a thousand-grain weight of about 350 g. The FAO index is 280, corresponding to mid-early maturity. ES GENTLEMAN exhibits high resistance to major maize diseases, including ear and stem fusarium, helminthosporium, as well as common and dry smut. The hybrid also shows high drought and lodging tolerance, contributing to stable yields even under adverse weather conditions. Rapid grain drying allows for reduced drying costs, an important advantage during harvest. Recommended planting density varies depending on soil moisture levels: 70-75 thousand plants per hectare under adequate moisture, and 65-70 thousand plants per hectare under limited moisture. Cultivation of the ES GENTLEMAN hybrid requires adherence to agronomic norms and planting operations conducted at stable air temperatures not lower than +10ºC. The hybrid is suitable for both medium-intensity and extensive farming technologies, making it a versatile choice for farmers aiming to achieve high-quality grain yields. Practical cultivation experience shows yields ranging from 99.9–112.9 ц/ha at 14% grain moisture, confirming its economic efficiency and reliability under various conditions.
