Maize ES GENTLEMAN

Stable grain yield in variable environments

The French hybrid ES Gentleman from Euralis Semences is a premium choice for agricultural producers focused on high-quality grain production with minimal risks. Featuring a flint-dent grain type, this hybrid balances early-season vigor with high test weight, making it a reliable performer in commercial farming.

Key Agronomic Strengths

• Disease Resistance: Exceptional genetic tolerance against Fusarium, Helminthosporium, and stalk rot reduces the need for frequent fungicide applications. The hybrid shows robust resistance to both loose and common smut.
• Flexible Growth Cycle: With a maturity period of 120–140 days (FAO 390), it provides sufficient flexibility for harvest scheduling and field management.
• Seeding Density: Optimal performance is achieved with a plant population of 65,000–75,000 plants/ha, depending on the site's water availability and soil potential.

The practical application of ES Gentleman is ideal for fields requiring resilience against environmental stress. The hybrid is known for its excellent dry-down capacity, which significantly cuts post-harvest drying costs. Its ease of cultivation and strong defense against common maize pathogens allow agronomists to adhere to standard technological protocols with confidence, ensuring consistent yield levels throughout the season.
