ES SKYWAY — a medium-maturing hybrid of corn (Zea mays L.) with a vegetative period of approximately 100–121 days, depending on growing conditions. This three-line hybrid is characterized by high yield and is adapted for cultivation in various regions, including the Lower Volga and Stavropol regions. Average grain yield in these regions ranges from 44.6 to 62 c/ha, with maximum yields reaching 81.7 and 161 c/ha respectively. The grain has an intermediate type, closer to dent, with yellow coloring on the upper part and yellow-orange on the lower, as well as a high number of rows of kernels on the ear. The plant is tall with broad, curved leaves and medium kernel density. The tassel flowers from early to late, with anthocyanic coloring varying from weak to moderate. The ear is medium in length and thickness, with a short or medium stalk, and has a weakly conical shape. The hybrid is resistant to stalk rot, ear smut, ear fusarium, and bacterial diseases, and exhibits a moderate level of damage from the corn borer, ensuring reliable yield under adverse weather conditions. ES SKYWAY is recommended for intensive and medium-intensity cultivation technologies with optimal planting dates at temperatures of +10°C or higher. Recommended planting density varies depending on soil moisture: 65–75 thousand plants per hectare under adequate moisture, and 55–65 thousand/ha under insufficient moisture. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation in steppe, forest-steppe, and forested zones, demonstrating high profitability and rapid moisture release after harvest.
