ES Olimpus — mid-early three-row corn hybrid with FAO 270, intended for cultivation in various climatic zones, including Polesie, forest-steppe, and steppe. Plants reach an average height of about 280 cm, with ear attachment height around 115 cm. Grain is cream-colored, tooth-shaped, yellow-orange, with 14 rows and 27 to 29 kernels per row. 1000-kernel weight is approximately 332 g. The hybrid is suitable for both grain and silage use, expanding its application in agriculture. ES Olimpus stands out for its high yield and stable performance. In the Central Chernozem region, average yield reached 86.1 c/ha, 10% above the standard, with maximum yields reaching 177.7 c/ha. In the Lower Volga region, average yield was 46.5 c/ha, also exceeding the standard by 7.1%. The hybrid’s vegetation period is approximately 121 days in the Central Chernozem region and 105 days in the Lower Volga, corresponding to a mid-early maturity period. Grain moisture at harvest varies from 21.1% to 28.1%, facilitating storage and processing. The hybrid exhibits high resistance to a wide range of diseases and stress factors. It shows high resistance to lodging, fusarium, helminthosporiosis, blister and powdery mildew, and moderate resistance to stalk rot. Additionally, ES Olimpus demonstrates high early growth energy, promoting rapid and uniform plant development. These features make the hybrid a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve high-quality corn yields.
