Maize DMC Super

DMC Super — medium-early hybrid of sugar corn for grain purposes with FAO index 220, developed by a Ukrainian breeding company and registered in the State Register of the Republic of Belarus. This hybrid is characterized by high cold resistance and intensive usage type, allowing it to be successfully grown both in early and late planting periods without significant changes in productivity and grain moisture. Due to rapid grain drying, DMC Super is suitable for regions with various climatic conditions, including central and northern areas.

Plants reach a height of about 240 cm, with high ear attachment strength, located at approximately 80 cm. The ear has a cylindrical shape, contains 14-16 rows of yellow grain. The hybrid has a well-developed leaf-stem apparatus, allowing its use not only for grain production but also for silage. DMC Super responds well to increased fertilizer doses and modern agronomic practices, fully realizing its productive potential under favorable moisture conditions.

Practical trials of the hybrid showed high yields: at the Ukrainian-German Agricultural Demonstration and Educational Center in the Kyiv region, dry grain yield reached 127.3 centners per hectare at 15.6% moisture, while in Polissia, Chernihiv region, yield reached 140 centners per hectare at 24.6% moisture. These results confirm the stability and high productivity of the DMC Super hybrid in various agroclimatic zones.
