The hybrid corn ES CRISTAL is a three-line mid-early maturity hybrid with FAO 240, recommended for cultivation in various regions of Ukraine, including the Polesie, forest-steppe, and steppe zones. Due to its high early vegetative growth rate, this hybrid is ideal for late planting and replanting. It demonstrates versatility: in southern areas, it can be used as an early-maturing hybrid with good moisture release, while in northern and central regions, it serves as a full-featured variety for silage and grain production. Plant height reaches about 194 cm, with ears forming at approximately 123-125 cm, allowing for the potential formation of more than two ears per plant.
ES CRISTAL features a strong root system, ensuring resistance to lodging even under adverse weather conditions. The grain has a cream-colored, tooth-like structure, medium size, and is arranged in 17-18 rows with more than 29 kernels per row. The hybrid naturally reduces grain moisture to 17%, facilitating storage and processing. The yield potential reaches 14 tons per hectare, making it an attractive choice for farmers focused on high productivity.
Moreover, ES CRISTAL exhibits high resistance to major diseases and stress factors. It shows good resistance to Fusarium, Helminthosporium, and smut, as well as resistance to lodging. The hybrid’s early growth energy is highly rated, promoting rapid vegetative mass accumulation and successful plant development even on disease- and pest-infested plots. All these qualities make ES CRISTAL a reliable and versatile hybrid suitable for various agricultural conditions.
