Maize Eden Star

Field Performance: Euralis «Eden Star»

When it comes to field reliability, the Euralis Semences «Eden Star» hybrid has earned a solid reputation among operators. This three-way hybrid offers a unique balance of stress tolerance and yield potential, making it a dependable choice for operations focused on both grain production and high-quality silage.

Disease Resistance and Crop Health

The primary advantage observed in the field is the hybrid's robust disease profile. In high-pressure environments, «Eden Star» demonstrates consistent resistance to Fusarium and Helminthosporium. Furthermore, its resistance to corn smut (common smut) significantly simplifies management, ensuring that crop quality remains high even when environmental conditions are less than ideal during the grain-filling stage.

Technical Specifications for Efficiency

The flint-dent grain type provides an excellent compromise: it offers decent moisture dry-down rates at harvest, while also maintaining high nutritional value for silage purposes. With a FAO range of 90–1240, this hybrid allows for flexible scheduling, making it adaptable to various regional climates.
