ES Sigma — mid-early three-line hybrid maize with FAO 280, developed by Euralis. This hybrid is distinguished by its high yield potential, reaching up to 140 c/ha, making it one of the leaders in the European market. The seeds have high growth energy and provide a rapid start to vegetation, which contributes to successful plant development in early stages. The hybrid is versatile and can be grown for both grain and silage, expanding its application possibilities in agriculture.

One of the key features of ES Sigma is its high compensatory ability and remontancy, ensuring stable yields even under variable climatic conditions and different agronomic practices. The hybrid demonstrates excellent resistance to major maize diseases such as helminthosporiosis, fusarium, blister and ear rot, significantly reducing the risk of yield loss and minimizing the need for intensive plant protection.

To achieve maximum productivity, it is recommended to follow optimal planting density, which varies depending on soil moisture levels: in areas with insufficient moisture — 60-70 thousand plants per hectare, and in areas with sufficient moisture — 70-80 thousand plants per hectare. The 1000-grain weight is approximately 360 grams, and the ear structure includes 29 kernels per row and 14 rows per ear, ensuring high kernel density and quality.
