Maize DP 32 S

DP 32 S — a mid-season corn hybrid designed for cultivation in various climatic conditions, including the Forest Steppe and Steppe. Plants reach a height of approximately 280 cm, forming evenly spaced ears with 14-16 rows of kernels and about 32 kernels per row. The kernels are dent type, with a 1000-kernel weight of approximately 320-330 g, ensuring high yield potential — from 11 to 17 tons per hectare, or 110-120 centners per hectare depending on growing conditions. The hybrid is characterized by high resistance to major corn diseases, including fusarium, smut, and gray leaf spot, significantly reducing the risk of yield loss. Additionally, DP 32 S exhibits good drought and cold tolerance, making it a reliable choice for regions with variable climates. Recommended planting density varies depending on soil moisture: from 45-55 thousand plants per hectare in dry zones to 70-75 thousand in well-watered zones. The producer is Limagrain, a recognized leader in Europe and one of the world’s largest corn seed producers. Thanks to its wide range of hybrids, the company offers solutions for both grain and silage purposes, enabling farmers to select the optimal hybrid based on specific growing conditions and objectives. DP 32 S combines high productivity, disease resistance, and adaptability, making it a profitable choice for modern farmers.
