Maize FVI 642 CM

Stability and Performance for Field Success

The Limagrain selection of ФВИ 642 ЦМ (FVI 642 CM) offers agronomists a solution focused on yield predictability. Its medium-early maturity allows for flexible harvest planning, helping to avoid bottlenecks in equipment usage. This corn hybrid is a strategic choice for intensive farming operations where maximizing output while managing risks associated with late-season weather is a top priority.

Agronomic Advantages for Practical Farming

The defining feature of ФВИ 642 ЦМ is its intermediate-type grain with distinctive flint (creminy) characteristics. This specific composition makes the hybrid a versatile tool for farmers:

• Stress Tolerance: The flint-type grain ensures robust germination and a vigorous start in cold soil, which is crucial for regions with unpredictable spring weather.
• Moisture Management: One of the main practical benefits is the hybrid's efficient moisture release. Rapid dry-down during maturation significantly lowers energy costs during post-harvest grain drying.
• Operational Versatility: The density and starch composition make this hybrid suitable for high-quality grain production, offering a consistent product for the market.

Field experience shows that ФВИ 642 ЦМ reaches its full potential when the recommended plant density is strictly followed. It is a reliable "workhorse" for farms balancing speed of maturation with consistent yield volume. Its ability to maintain performance even under moderate moisture stress makes it a foundational component for crop rotation in medium and large-scale agricultural enterprises.
