Maize LG 31330

LG 31330 is a mid-season corn hybrid intended for grain production. It features a dent kernel type, an average of 38 to 40 kernels per row, and 16-18 rows per ear. Plants reach an average height of about 255 cm, indicating a tall hybrid. The 1000-kernel weight is high, contributing to good ear fill and high yield potential.

The hybrid exhibits high adaptability to various climatic conditions, making it suitable for cultivation in the southern Polissya, forest-steppe, and northern steppe regions. It demonstrates high drought and stress tolerance, confirmed by ratings on a scale from 1 to 9, where drought, lodging, and stress resistance scores reach 9 points. Additionally, LG 31330 shows good disease resistance profiles, including resistance to gray leaf spot and Fusarium, with ratings of 8 out of 9.

The hybrid is recommended for use on both main and reseeding crops. The optimal planting density varies depending on the moisture zone: in adequately moist zones, 70-75 thousand plants per hectare are recommended; in moderately dry zones — 60-70 thousand; and in arid areas — 45-55 thousand. High initial growth energy and rapid water absorption by the grain ensure effective development and timely harvest, making LG 31330 a profitable choice for farmers seeking stable and high yields.
