Corn DN Typhoon is a high-yielding hybrid intended for grain production. This hybrid is distinguished by high drought and heat resistance, making it especially valuable for low-humidity regions. Thanks to its intensive water release, the grain dries quickly during ripening, facilitating harvest and reducing drying costs. Plants reach a height of approximately 240-250 cm, and ears have a cylindrical shape, 23-24 cm long, with 16 rows of yellow-orange, dent-type kernels.
DN Typhoon is characterized by high resistance to lodging, ensuring easy harvest and minimizing losses. The hybrid also exhibits good resistance to major corn diseases and pests, enhancing yield reliability and stability. The 1000-kernel weight ranges from 300-320 g, and grain yield reaches 80-82%, indicating high quality and productivity of this variety.
This corn hybrid is suitable for cultivation under various climatic conditions in Ukraine, including forest-steppe, steppe, and Polissia zones. Thanks to its agronomic advantages—such as high yield potential up to 11 tons per hectare, resistance to adverse weather conditions and diseases—DN Typhoon is an optimal choice for farmers aiming to achieve a stable and high-quality harvest.
