The "DN Tykach" hybrid, officially entered into the State Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine in 2025, is the result of long-term work by breeders at the Institute of Grain Crops of the NAAS. This simple modified hybrid with FAO 250 is designed specifically for the conditions of the Polissya region, where the combination of early maturity and high potential productivity is critical.

Agronomic profile

The genetics of "DN Tykach" are focused on grain production. The plant reaches a height of 240–250 cm and is characterized by high lodging resistance (8–9 points). Morphological traits recorded in the UPOV register highlight its adaptability: a wide leaf blade and a conical-cylindrical ear shape promote efficient photosynthesis and grain filling. An important feature is its high drought tolerance (8–9 points), making the hybrid a reliable tool in unstable climatic conditions.
