Corn Sanzharskyi 289 MV — a medium-early hybrid corn variety developed by the Institute of Steppe Agriculture and the Poltava Institute of the All-Ukrainian Scientific Research Institute of Agriculture named after N.I. Vavilov, NAS of Ukraine. Included in the State Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine since 2008. Plant height reaches 230–240 cm, with ear attachment height of 80–90 cm. The ear is cylindrical, 20–22 cm long, with 16–18 rows of kernels, each row containing 36–40 kernels. Kernels are yellow, cream-colored, toothed, with a 1000-kernel weight of 280–300 g.
