DM Victoria is a high-yielding mid-early hybrid of sweet corn with universal use, intended for cultivation as grain or silage. The hybrid is characterized by high yield potential, ranging from 122 c/ha in the Steppes to 155 c/ha in the Polissia, ensuring stable and high yields across various climatic zones of Ukraine. Due to its adaptability and plasticity, DM Victoria successfully grows in the Polissia, Forest Steppe, and Steppes, responding well to intensive soil management techniques.
One of the key features of the hybrid is its high resistance to adverse environmental factors such as heat and drought. Particularly important is that DM Victoria maintains functionality under drought conditions in the latter half of the vegetation period, contributing to yield stability. Additionally, the hybrid exhibits good cold tolerance and early growth, enabling planting at optimal times when soil temperature reaches +10-12 °C.
The hybrid positively responds to increased fertilizer doses and improved cultivation conditions, further enhancing its productivity. At maturity, the plant retains green leaves, and grain moisture naturally decreases. All these characteristics make DM Victoria one of the leaders among mid-early corn hybrids, surpassing both domestic and foreign analogs in performance.
