Corn hybrid Borgi CS is intended for use both as grain and silage. It is characterized by high growth rate and excellent adaptability to resource-saving and energy-saving technologies, making it effective under various agronomic conditions.
To protect corn hybrid Borgi CS from annual grasses and broadleaf weeds, it is recommended to apply the herbicide Kiborg KS. This product contains two active ingredients — S-metolachlor (312.5 g/l) and terbuthylazine (187.5 g/l), which provide a broad spectrum of action and long-lasting protection, preventing the emergence of multiple weed waves. The mechanism of action of the herbicide is based on photosynthesis inhibition by terbuthylazine and cell division suppression by S-metolachlor, leading to weed death at the germination stage.
The herbicide can be applied to the soil and incorporated to a depth of 3-5 cm using a disc, harrow, rotary tiller, or similar equipment. The product is applied before emergence of the crop and weeds, as well as during vegetation, when it is absorbed by both seedlings and root systems, translocated throughout the plant, and causes weed death. The use of two active ingredients ensures no resistance development and significantly prolongs the herbicide effect, contributing to effective protection of corn hybrid Borgi CS.
