Maize Cremny 200 MV

Proven Genetics for Ukrainian Agriculture

"Kremen 200 MV" represents a flagship achievement of the Institute of Grain Crops of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine. Developed under the leadership of B.V. Dziubetsky, this hybrid has earned its reputation as a reliable, stress-tolerant option for domestic producers. Unlike delicate high-input hybrids, "Kremen 200 MV" is built to perform in varying soil and climatic conditions, making it a cornerstone for stable regional yields.

Technical Specifications and Market Positioning

The flint-type (crenistiy) grain provides high-density endosperm, ensuring excellent nutritional value and high yield for processing industries, particularly in milling and feed production. With an FAO rating of 90–1240, the hybrid offers a flexible maturity window, allowing growers to adapt their harvesting schedules to actual weather patterns.

• Disease Resistance: The hybrid possesses strong genetic tolerance to helminthosporiosis and common smut (Ustilago maydis), reducing the dependency on extensive fungicide applications.
• Harvest Integrity: Enhanced resistance to stalk smut protects the plant's structure, minimizing harvest losses and ensuring high-quality kernels.
• Proven Pedigree: Marketed through "Garden Tools Ukraine," this variety remains a preferred choice for farmers who prioritize consistency over speculative yields.

For modern agricultural businesses, "Kremen 200 MV" serves as a practical, cost-effective solution. Its early-growth vigor allows the crop to effectively compete with weeds, while its efficient grain moisture dry-down at maturity significantly reduces energy expenditure during post-harvest handling and storage.
