Maize Dneprovsky 273AMV

Stability in Changing Climatic Conditions

Dniprovskyi 273AMV is a product of long-term breeding by the Institute of Grain Crops under the leadership of B. V. Dziubetskyi. This three-way dent corn hybrid holds a special niche in Ukrainian agricultural production, designed for those seeking a balance between harvest predictability and disease resistance.

Key Advantages

• Comprehensive Protection: Breeding efforts have focused on maximum suppression of pathogens. The hybrid demonstrates high resistance to helminthosporiosis, fusarium ear rot, and common smut, significantly reducing losses during storage and transportation.
• Agrotechnical Endurance: A key distinction of Dniprovskyi 273AMV is its ability to withstand the European corn borer, making it a preferred choice for regions with high pest pressure.
• Adaptability: The dent grain type provides excellent dry-down rates, which is critical for farmers aiming to reduce costs associated with grain drying.

Who is this hybrid for?

Dniprovskyi 273AMV is optimal for agricultural enterprises that practice intensive cultivation technologies but are not willing to compromise in the face of adverse phytosanitary factors. Due to its three-way hybrid structure, it possesses a heterosis effect, resulting in highly uniform crops and consistent maturation. It is a reliable choice for farms in the steppe and forest-steppe zones of Ukraine, focused on stable production of high-quality commercial grain.
