BEMO 181 SV

Corn BEMO 181 SV is a simple modified hybrid of Ukrainian selection with FAO 180, intended for cultivation as grain or silage. This early-maturing hybrid has high yield potential — up to 10-11 tons per hectare when grown for grain and 550-590 centners per hectare when used for silage. Plants reach a height of 230-240 cm, have approximately 14 leaves up to 20 cm long, and the grain is characterized by yellow-orange color and a cream-colored, toothed shape. The 1000-grain weight is approximately 260-280 grams, indicating high seed density and quality. The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major diseases such as Fusarium, stalk rot, blister rust, rye and root rot, as well as damage from pests. Additionally, BEMO 181 SV has good resistance to lodging and stem breakage, ensuring stable yields even under adverse weather conditions. Cold resistance and disease resistance are rated at 7 points, confirming the hybrid’s adaptability to various soil-climate zones. Recommended cultivation zones include Polissia, Forest Steppe, and Steppe of Ukraine, where the hybrid demonstrates high plasticity and stable yield. Optimal planting density varies by region: 50-60 thousand plants per hectare for Steppe, 70-75 thousand for Forest Steppe, and 75-90 thousand for Polissia. Thanks to these characteristics, BEMO 181 SV is a universal and reliable choice for farmers seeking high-quality corn yields.
