Growing Freesco F1 dahlias begins with sowing seeds in March-April in a peat and sand mixture in a 3:1 ratio at a soil temperature of about +18 °C. Seedlings appear after 7-14 days. When two true leaves appear, the seedlings are pricked out, and they are transplanted to a permanent location after spring frosts have passed. To maintain decorative qualities and enable perennial growing, tubers are dug up at the end of September – beginning of October, stems are cut 8-12 cm above the root collar, dried, and stored at 3-7 °C.
