Scythian Gold

Chrysanthemum Scythian Gold is an early-blooming Korean variety that begins flowering as early as August and delights with vibrant blooms until late autumn. The plant reaches a height of 40-50 cm, has lobed leaves arranged alternately, and possesses a branched rhizome that spreads parallel to the soil surface. The flowers form dense clusters with high decorative qualities, with flower diameter ranging from 5-10 cm, and color transitioning from coral-orange in buds to yellowish and fully yellow in fully bloomed flowers. Due to its frost tolerance, this chrysanthemum overwinters well in Ukraine’s climate without protection.

The plant is sun-loving and prefers sunny locations with at least six hours of sunlight per day. For successful cultivation, choose neutral or slightly acidic, nutrient-rich loamy soils, avoiding low-lying areas with water stagnation. Chrysanthemum Scythian Gold is suitable for cutting; with proper care, cut flowers retain freshness for up to a month, making it an excellent choice for indoor and garden decorative arrangements.

This variety is sold in containers with peat, sized 0.5–1 liter, and features 5–7 stems, facilitating planting and maintenance. Chrysanthemum Scythian Gold is a wonderful addition to gardens, combining early blooming, vibrant coloration, and adaptability to climatic conditions to provide prolonged, striking flowering.
