Chrysanthemum Sunbeam

Growing and Maintenance Overview

The 'Solnechniy Luch' (Sunbeam) chrysanthemum, developed by the M.M. Gryshko National Botanical Garden, is a reliable cultivar designed for high-quality cut flower production. With a height exceeding 60 cm, it is highly efficient for both manual and mechanical harvesting. The stems are notably sturdy, reducing the need for elaborate support systems, which significantly decreases maintenance labor on the plantation.

Lighting and Planting Conditions

To achieve the best floral performance, this variety should be planted in open, sun-exposed areas. Autumn is the optimal time for planting in the Ukrainian climate. The plant is well-adapted to local conditions, showing strong resilience. Avoid shade, as it can cause the stems to weaken and stretch, affecting the marketability of the flowers.
