Description Umka
Chrysanthemum 'Umkha' is a Korean perennial plant known for its early and prolonged flowering, which begins at the end of summer and reaches its peak in September. The bush is upright, up to 70 cm tall, with strong stems that require staking due to abundant flowering. 'Umkha' flowers are double, snowy-white, pom-pom-like, with a diameter of 4 to 7 cm, making this variety especially attractive for decorative use and cutting for bouquets.

Chrysanthemum flowers change color as they fade, acquiring a rich cranberry or lavender hue, which adds additional decorative value to the plant. Due to its cold hardiness, 'Umkha' withstands winter even without additional protection, simplifying care in moderate climates.

For successful cultivation, 'Umkha' chrysanthemum should be planted in a well-lit, elevated area with neutral or slightly acidic soil. Planting is best done in summer or autumn, no later than two weeks before the first frost. After planting, the plant requires watering with a root stimulant solution and pinching to encourage rooting and optimal crown formation.
