Description Meteorite
Korean Chrysanthemum 'Meteorite' is an early, perennial variety with abundant and prolonged flowering, starting in August and lasting until October. The flowers are double, anemone-like, with a diameter of 4 to 11 centimeters, featuring ray florets arranged in multiple rows without a central disc. The flower color is light lavender, with slightly darker central florets, giving them a delicate and elegant appearance. The plants reach a height of 30 to 70 centimeters, with upright stems and leaves resembling oak leaves in shape. The flowers have a characteristic bitter-herbaceous aroma, making them particularly attractive.

This variety is highly winter-hardy and can overwinter in open ground with light mulching or even without it, depending on climatic conditions and planting location. To preserve the mother plants, it is recommended to store them in an unheated room or cellar, keeping the soil slightly moist. In spring, full-sized bushes can be obtained by dividing the mother plants into individual shoots. Chrysanthemum 'Meteorite' is low-maintenance, requires little attention, and is ideal for those who cannot dedicate much time to plants.

The plant prefers sunny, warm locations and does not tolerate waterlogged roots. Seedlings are grown in open ground and are ready for planting after the last frost, typically at the end of May to early June, and fall planting is also possible, no later than two weeks before the first frost. Due to its beauty and resilience, Chrysanthemum 'Meteorite' is excellent for garden cultivation and is suitable for cut flowers, enhancing interiors with its vibrant and fragrant blooms.
