Vrodliwa

Chrysanthemum cultivar 'Vrodliwa' is a compact upright bush growing 40 to 50 cm tall. This perennial is distinguished by bright red simple flower heads 6-7 cm in diameter with a characteristic yellow center, which becomes especially noticeable when the flower is fully open. Over time, the intense red color of the flower heads fades to a lighter shade, adding additional decorative appeal to the plant.

The flowering of cultivar 'Vrodliwa' is abundant and prolonged, lasting from 40 to 66 days, beginning in August and continuing until September. During flowering, 18 to 25 flower heads bloom simultaneously, making the bush particularly striking. The cultivar is early-flowering, but depending on climatic conditions, it may exhibit medium or medium-late flowering. The plant is sun-loving, prefers fertile soils and moderate moisture levels, and possesses high winter hardiness.

Care for 'Vrodliwa' chrysanthemum is simple. After purchase, seedlings with 2-3 stems are recommended to be planted in a 1.5-2 liter pot and covered in a greenhouse until stable frost arrives. In winter, plants can be left in the greenhouse, moved to a cellar or basement, or pruned and stored in a cool room until spring. This approach allows preserving a mother plant with 6-12 stems for subsequent planting and propagation.
