Chrysanthemum MAGNIFICENT MOMENT

Cultivating the 'Chudnoye Mgnovenye' Chrysanthemum

Developed by the Ufa Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, this chrysanthemum cultivar is engineered for reliable performance. For a grower, working with 'Chudnoye Mgnovenye' means focusing on efficient crop management, whether the objective is high-quality cut flowers or robust garden display.

Operational Guidelines and Maintenance

Success with this variety relies on managing its growth habit. Proper pinching and spacing are essential for producing sturdy, straight stems required for commercial cut-flower production. The plant shows high resistance to standard climatic fluctuations, making it a low-risk option for open-field cultivation.

• Cut-Flower Production: The striking orange blooms are known for their structural integrity. After cutting, the flowers retain their shape and color saturation, which minimizes waste during transportation and retail.
• Landscape Use: For garden applications, the variety is quite autonomous. It requires only standard nutrient management, with phosphorus and potassium boosts during the budding phase to ensure the signature vibrant orange hue.

Maintenance is straightforward: regular irrigation and pest control protocols used for standard greenhouse or garden crops are fully applicable here. Propagation via cuttings is highly successful, allowing for cost-effective self-replacement of planting stock. The plant’s overall resilience makes it a practical, maintenance-friendly choice for professional growers who value consistency in their yield.
