Tulip Fantasy

Field Performance and Durability

For growers focusing on late-season production, the 'Fantasy' tulip offers a robust profile. Its significant height is a clear commercial advantage, ensuring a commanding presence in floral displays, though it demands sheltered planting to minimize wind damage. From an operational standpoint, this hybrid is a low-maintenance asset. The genetic resistance to Fusarium wilt, anthracnose, Cladosporium, and powdery mildew significantly lowers the overhead costs associated with intensive fungicide programs, allowing for a more streamlined management schedule.

Agronomic Specifications

• Bloom Timing: Late — ideal for extending the sales window and capitalizing on end-of-season demand.
• Tulip Type: Parrot — features the distinctive ruffled petals that define the premium market segment.
• Disease Resistance: Superior tolerance to major fungal threats, significantly reducing chemical intervention.

The pink petal color remains stable throughout the development cycle, provided standard temperature controls are maintained. When handling 'Fantasy', precision during the harvesting phase is essential, given the intricate structure of the parrot-type bloom. With proper spacing, the plant exhibits excellent structural integrity, making it a reliable choice for commercial floriculture where consistency and crop health are the primary metrics of success.
