Chrysanthemum AUTUMN BEAUTY

Cultivation and Performance

The 'Krasa Oseni' chrysanthemum variety, developed by the Ufa Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, is a high-performance crop designed for late-season production. From an operational standpoint, this variety is highly predictable, provided that the grower strictly manages light cycles and greenhouse temperatures. The primary benefit for the operator is its late-November flowering window, capturing a market segment with high demand for premium-quality cut flowers.

Management and Maintenance

• Light Requirements: This variety requires optimal solar exposure. In professional greenhouse environments, supplemental lighting is recommended to ensure consistent bloom quality and stem strength.
• Post-Harvest Handling: 'Krasa Oseni' excels in durability. Its robust bud structure minimizes waste during storage and transportation, making it an efficient choice for commercial distributors.
• Garden Application: As an ornamental, it is relatively low-maintenance, requiring standard fertilization to maintain the depth of its yellow and white palette.

Operational maintenance focuses on moisture control during the late autumn period to prevent petal damage. Given the genetic traits provided by the Ufa originators, the variety displays significant resilience to regional climatic shifts, reducing the complexity of crop management. For the farm operator, this represents a reliable, long-blooming asset that maximizes the utility of the late-season growing space.
