Chrysanthemum KALEIDOSCOPE

Why the «Kaleidoscope» chrysanthemum stands out

The selection work of SKFNATS has gifted gardeners with a variety that breaks stereotypes about the finickiness of ornamental chrysanthemums. Unlike many imported hybrids that require greenhouse conditions, «Kaleidoscope» is adapted to climatic swings. Its main feature is the spectacular bi-color bloom, which lives up to its name by creating a dynamic play of shades in the garden.

Key characteristics and agrotechnical nuances

• Height and habit: This medium-sized plant (30-60 cm) is a versatile choice for landscape design — it is ideal for both the foreground of mixed borders and container gardening.
• Flowering: The medium-flowered type (5-10 cm) strikes a perfect balance between delicate form and vibrant color in the flowerbed.
• Frost resistance: High cold tolerance is a key advantage, ensuring the root system survives through difficult winters.

Who is this variety for?

If you are looking for a variety that serves two purposes — as a garden ornament and as a cut flower — «Kaleidoscope» is an optimal solution. In a vase, these chrysanthemums hold their shape longer than many competitors, which is a rare trait for ornamental garden varieties.

Strengths: High decorative value due to the bi-color petals and ease of maintenance. Weaknesses: Restricted planting period (spring only), which requires advance planning. It is a perfect fit for weekend gardeners and landscape designers looking for hardy yet aesthetically flawless plants.
