ELVIRA THE SISTER CHRYSANTHEMUM

Elvira the Sister Chrysanthemum is a perennial variety of Korean chrysanthemum developed at the Botanical Garden-Institute of the Ufa Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The plant belongs to the group of potted medium-flowered chrysanthemums and is distinguished by its high decorative quality. The bush is semi-spreading, about 42-50 cm tall, with densely foliated, well-branched, and sturdy stems. The leaves are small, green, hairy, with an asymmetrical base shape and a tip at the top, giving the plant a neat and attractive appearance. The inflorescences are double, mustard-yellow in color, about 5 cm in diameter, and have a strong aroma. Flowering begins in the second half of July and continues until the second half of October, providing a long-lasting decorative effect - up to 88 days. On average, 7 inflorescences form on one peduncle, and the whole plant can have from 90 to 250, making the variety particularly striking and rich in color. Due to its resistance to adverse weather conditions, diseases, and pests, the Elvira the Sister Chrysanthemum is suitable for growing in various climatic conditions. This variety is intended for cultivation both in pots and for cutting, expanding its use in ornamental horticulture and floristry. Early and abundant flowering, compact bush size, and high resistance make the Elvira the Sister Chrysanthemum an excellent choice for creating bright floral compositions and decorating interiors and gardens.
