Chrysanthemum variety Salut Pobedy is a decorative garden plant recommended for growing in the central region of Russia. This variety belongs to the group of Korean chrysanthemums and is characterized by an early flowering period. The bush reaches a height of about 55 cm, has a semi-spreading shape, and is densely leafy. The leaves are dark green, medium in length and width, leathery with fine serration, which gives the plant a neat and well-groomed appearance. Inflorescence stems are sturdy, and pyramidal-shaped flower heads are located on the surface of the bush, making the flowering particularly spectacular.
Chrysanthemum Salut Pobedy flowers are double-less, with a diameter of about 8 cm. Ray flowers have a thin structure with a serrated apex and are distinguished by two-tone coloration: on the outside they are purplish-pink, while on the inside they are dark burgundy. Disc flowers are short and yellowish-green. Flowers have a medium-sized disk, do not shed, and fade weakly in the sun, ensuring long and bright flowering. The period from the start of vegetation to flowering is about 72 days, and flowering itself lasts approximately 78 days.
The variety is distinguished by high resistance to diseases and pests, winter hardiness, and medium drought tolerance, which makes it a reliable choice for gardeners. Chrysanthemum Salut Pobedy was developed at the Botanical Garden-Institute of the Ufa Scientific Center of the RAS and registered in 2017. Thanks to its decorative qualities and hardiness, this variety is widely used in agriculture and gardening to decorate residential plots and flower beds.
