Chrysanthemum Memory of Mother

NBS M.M. Gryshko Selection: Aesthetic Versatility for Modern Gardening

The «Pamyat Materi» (Memory of Mother) chrysanthemum is a testament to the expertise of the M.M. Gryshko National Botanical Garden of the NAS of Ukraine. Developed to thrive in the Ukrainian climate, this medium-height variety (30–60 cm) is highly regarded by landscape professionals for its reliability and striking visual appeal.

Operational Use and Practical Scenarios

• Landscape Architecture: The compact, sturdy growth habit eliminates the need for staking or intensive support structures, significantly reducing labor inputs during the maintenance of seasonal garden beds and borders.
• Container Cultivation: Its size makes it a top choice for container gardening. By planting in pots, growers gain flexibility in landscape management, allowing them to reposition the plants to maximize display impact during the peak flowering phase.
• Interior Floral Design: With a bloom diameter exceeding 10 cm and a sophisticated spider-like petal shape, this variety is an excellent selection for high-end floristry. Importantly, the variety is scentless, making it an ideal choice for indoor arrangements in sensitive environments like offices or residential interiors where strong floral fragrances are undesirable.

The distinctive green hue of the blossoms sets «Pamyat Materi» apart from standard palettes. To ensure optimal performance, cultivators should focus on consistent moisture levels. While the plant is robust, monitoring light exposure is vital to preserve the intensity of the green pigment, ensuring the plants retain their aesthetic edge throughout the season.
