Tsezar

Garlic of the Caesar variety is a mid-season winter variety intended for universal use. It is characterized by a bolting form and green leaves with a medium-intensity waxy coating, measuring about 48.3 cm in length and 2.7 cm in width. The bulb is round-flat, dense, weighing from 39 to 54 grams, with 5-6 dry cloves of dirty-gray color featuring longitudinal purple stripes. Each bulb contains 4-5 cloves with white flesh having a pinkish tint and a semi-sharp taste. The Caesar variety boasts good market yield, reaching 0.9 kg per square meter, making it attractive for garden and vegetable plots, suburban sites, and small farm enterprises. It possesses resistance to fusarium rot, which enhances cultivation reliability and reduces the risk of crop loss. Thanks to these qualities, the variety is popular among gardeners and farmers. For planting, it is recommended to use winter garlic from October to mid-November, up to the arrival of cold weather. Such a planting period promotes optimal plant development and the formation of a quality harvest.
