Origin of the variety — Standard of the Urals x (Zhukovskaya + Large-fruited No. 6). Breeder — Tatar Research Institute of Horticulture. Authors: L.A. Sevastyanova, V.A. Naumov. In state variety trials since 1994.
Medium-sized tree; pyramidal crown; medium density, strong foliage; shoot with very strong silvering; buds of medium size, vegetative conical, generative ovate, strongly deviated from the shoot; leaf inversely ovate, green; anthocyanin absent; apex obtuse-pointed, base wedge-shaped, double-toothed edge, weakly glossy, flat surface; petiole of medium length (22 mm) and thickness (2 mm), color with weak anthocyanin at the base; number of flowers in inflorescence medium, flowers small, petals touching, white, stigma positioned higher than stamens. Flowering and fruiting type — predominantly on cluster branches.
Fruit: mass 3.6 g, height 20 mm, width 18 mm, thickness 16 mm, oval shape, narrow, small, oval shape of the calyx, slightly depressed apex, dark red color of the fruit, flesh, and juice, dense flesh. Pedicel short (40 mm), thin; stone oval, mass 0.3 g, constitutes 8.3% of the fruit mass, light-brown, apex and base narrowly rounded, medium detachment from flesh.
Fruit appearance is good; flesh juiciness medium; taste excellent, sweet. Dry matter content — 15.16%, sugars — 12.41%, free acids — 1.06%, ascorbic acid — 11.7 mg/100g. When detached from the pedicel, the calyx flesh is slightly damaged in a small portion of fruits; not suitable for mechanized harvesting; high resistance to fruit cracking; variety of universal use.
Flowering period — 2-3 weeks of May; ripening in medium, simultaneous time; age of fruiting onset medium (on the 3rd year after planting); plant longevity 20 years. Partially self-fertile. Yield — 12.5 tons/ha. Tree and branches resistant to winter frosts; generative buds and flowers moderately resistant to winter frosts and spring frosts. Resistant to gummosis.
Production evaluation of the variety is good; use of the variety — for amateur and commercial cultivation, as a selection resource; not suitable for intensive orchards.
Advantages of the variety: winter hardiness, yield, dessert, marketable, transportable fruits, good rooting ability of green cuttings.
Disadvantages: medium height, uneven fruit ripening, branches diverging at sharp angles.
