This variety was obtained at the VNIILUPIN institute through crossing of 'Leningradskaya Chornaya' x 'Kommunar'. Author: M.V. Kanshina. Introduced into the State Register since 2001 for the Central region.
Tree is fast-growing, well-leafed, medium-sized, with a broadly oval, moderately dense crown. Buds are large, vegetative conical, strongly deviated, generative conical. Leaves are inversely egg-shaped, elongated, medium-sized, green, apex acuminate, base rounded, double-toothed margin, blade straight, petiole pigmented, medium length and thickness, with 2-3 glands. Inflorescence contains 3 medium-sized flowers, corolla dish-shaped, petals overlapping, white, stigma positioned at the same level as stamens, calyx bell-shaped, no toothed sepals, stamens and stigma long. Fruit set is concentrated on bouquet branches (60%).
Fruit: average weight 4.6 g, maximum 5.7 g, height 20 mm, width 19 mm, thickness 17 mm. Shape oval, wide depression, apex rounded. Fruit color dark red, almost black, flesh and juice dark red, medium density. Pedicel long and thin. Stone egg-shaped, weight 0.24 g, 5.2% of fruit weight, light brown color, apex acuminate, base rounded, separates easily from flesh. Fruit sweet, taste rating 4.5 points, good detachment, fruits do not crack, versatile use, contains 16.1% dry matter, 11.2% sugars, 0.40% acids, 13.5 mg/100g ascorbic acid.
Flowering early, fruits ripen early and uniformly. Enters fruiting stage at 4-5 years. Self-sterile, best pollinators: Revna, Iput', Tyutchevka. Average yield 60 centners/ha. After severe winters at -29 to -34°C, tree damage was 1.5 points, flower buds 42% loss; after spring frosts at -3 to -5°C, stigma loss was 56%. Good resistance to coccomyces and moniliosis, moderate resistance to clasterosporiosis.
Advantages of the variety: good resistance to coccomyces and moniliosis, early fruit ripening.
