Description PUTINKA
The Putin cherry variety is a medium-sized tree with a height of up to 3 meters and an almost round, raised crown of medium density. The flowers are small, white-pink, collected in umbrella inflorescences. Fruits ripen late, at the end of July - beginning of August, have a dark red or burgundy color, medium size, juicy pulp and sour-sweet taste. Berries keep well and transport well, which makes the variety attractive for commercial cultivation and sale.

Putin cherry is characterized by high yield and marketability, with an average yield of about 79.9 c/ha. The variety is partially self-fertile; better pollination is recommended in the neighborhood with cherries Zhukovskaya, Bystrinka, Kharitonovskaya and Iput cherry. The plant is resistant to fungal diseases such as coccomycosis and monilial burn, as well as highly resistant to pests.

The variety is undemanding in care, tolerates short-term droughts well, but needs additional watering with prolonged lack of precipitation. Putin cherry is adapted to various types of soils, including chernozem, loams and gray forest soil. The variety's frost resistance is medium, which requires taking into account climatic conditions when growing.
