This variety was obtained at the All-Russian Selection and Technology Institute for Horticulture and Nursery, by A.I. Evstratov and Kh.K. Enikeev, from seeds of cherry plum variety 'Leningradskaya Yellow' subjected to open pollination. It was introduced into the State Register in 2004 for the Chernozem region.
The tree is medium-sized — up to 4.5-5.0 m tall, with a rounded-oval, slightly raised crown of medium density, and skeletal branches that branch off at right or obtuse angles. The leaves are medium-sized, lanceolate, oval, elongated with a pointed tip, green, smooth, shiny, with a finely toothed edge.
Fruits have a medium weight up to 4.5 g, round, yellow, suitable for fresh consumption. The flavor is sweet with a barely perceptible acidity, dessert-like, with tender, juicy flesh. The stone is medium-sized, round, smooth, and easily separates from the flesh.
High productivity — 15-23 t/ha. The variety is distinguished by very early ripening. Cold hardiness is sufficient for conditions in the Moscow region, and it is resistant to major fungal diseases — moniliosis and coccomycosis.
Advantages of the variety: cold-hardy, resistant to fungal diseases, early-ripening variety.
Disadvantages: self-sterile.
