The celery variety POTENTIAL is an old early large-fruited variety with high storage potential and excellent commercial qualities. The plant forms a powerful leaf apparatus with upright leaves about 40-45 cm long, dark green in color, moderately glossy and not curly. The root crops are round in shape, dense and uniform, relatively smooth with a small number of lateral roots, contain no anthocyanin, which gives them an attractive appearance and high quality. The mass of one commercial plant is 180-220 g, and the yield reaches 2.5-2.6 kg per square meter.

The variety is distinguished by high commercial quality, aroma, and increased sugar content in the root crops, which makes it particularly tasty and useful. Consuming celery helps eliminate salts from the body and increases overall tone. The plant's leaves impart a special aroma and significantly improve the taste of pickled vegetables, and are also used fresh in salads, boiled in soups, and stewed in vegetable ragouts and side dishes for meat.

POTENTIAL is well suited for cultivation in open ground, where the cultivation period is 40-50 days from sowing to harvesting. The variety is resistant to leaf diseases and is characterized by high productivity. For successful cultivation, moderate watering, timely weeding, and application of fertilizers with high nitrogen content are recommended, which contributes to increased yield and maintaining plant health.
