Malachite

Malachit is a medium-early variety of celery with a vegetation period of 75-90 days from transplanting seedlings. The plant features a large above-ground mass of dark green color and upright, fleshy stalks 22-26 cm long. The stalks are smooth, juicy, and crisp, ensuring excellent flavor and attractive appearance. The variety is resistant to bolting, allowing for stable and high-quality yields during summer and autumn periods.

Sowing seedlings is recommended in February-March, and transplanting into open ground — in May. Harvesting can be conducted from June to October, making this variety suitable for home cooking, fresh markets, and freezing. Recommended planting scheme is 40x35 or 40x40 cm, promoting optimal plant development and high yield.
