Celery President

Root celery variety 'President' (President) is a high-yielding, mid-season variety developed by the Dutch company Rijk Zwaan. The vegetative period ranges from 110 to 130 days, allowing harvest in early October when seedlings are transplanted in May. The plant forms a strong rosette and grows up to 45 cm tall, promoting the formation of large root crops with a diameter of 8-14 cm and weight up to 2.5 kg. The root crops have a round shape with smooth white skin and dense, juicy flesh without veins, possessing a pleasant taste and aroma.

The variety is characterized by high resistance to bolting, viral mosaic, and septoria, ensuring stable productivity and plant health under various climatic conditions. President adapts well to cultivation both in open ground and in greenhouses and polytunnels, preferring fertile, well-drained, and moist soils. Due to its disease resistance and high immunity, the variety demonstrates excellent yield performance and is suitable for cultivation in different regions.
