ISKANDER is a super-early hybrid of a bush-type zucchini, distinguished by its high productivity and compact plant size. The maturation period is about 40-48 days, allowing for harvest at the beginning of the season and continuing fruit collection until the first autumn frosts. Due to its stability and adaptability, ISKANDER is suitable for cultivation in open ground as well as in greenhouses or under temporary film coverings, which allows for obtaining ultra-early produce.
The fruits of the ISKANDER zucchini have a cylindrical shape with a slight tapering towards the stem, measuring 18 to 20 cm in length and weighing about 450 g. The skin is light green, very light shade, thin and tender, while the flesh is cream-white, differing with a sweet taste and soft texture. Such fruit structure makes them universal for various culinary purposes, including the preparation of fresh salads, stewing, and roasting.
High yield of the variety allows obtaining up to 40-60 tons of fruits from one hectare, and about 15 kg from one bush. ISKANDER combines early ripening, excellent taste qualities, and stable productivity, which makes it an excellent choice both for commercial cultivation and for personal gardens.
