Description CUT
Celery is a biennial vegetable plant from the Umbelliferae family, reaching heights of up to one meter. In the first year, it forms a rosette of leaves and a root crop, while in the second year it flowers. The plant is moisture-loving and cold-hardy, capable of germinating at temperatures from 3°C, and seedlings can withstand frosts down to -5°C. Celery root crops are round, with five thread-like ribs, the flesh is snow-white and has a strong pleasant aroma. Leaf celery has a shorter vegetation period, which allows it to be grown in northern regions, while root celery is usually grown by seedling on moist soils.

The Emna variety is a leaf celery intended for the collection of tender and aromatic leaves. The plant forms a plentiful leaf mass with a growth period of 30-40 days and a vegetation period of 70-80 days from seedling planting. Leaves are dark green, and cultivation is possible both in open and protected ground. The recommended planting scheme is 40x35 cm to 40x40 cm.

The Albin variety is a medium-early, high-yielding root celery of universal purpose for autumn harvest with a vegetation period of about 140 days. Root crops are large, round in shape, with most of them above the ground surface, with white flesh that retains its color during canning and freezing. This variety is resistant to hollowing, bolting, and septoria, making it a reliable choice for cultivation.
