VARVARA KRASA

The 'Varvara Krasa' carrot variety is an early-maturing type similar to Berlinum, distinguished by its high yield and attractive appearance of the roots. The roots have a cylindrical or slightly conical shape with a smooth, bright orange skin and deeply orange, juicy pulp. The average root weight ranges from 130 to 180 grams, length is 15-18 cm, and diameter is 3-4 cm. This variety is characterized by high marketability, reaching about 81%, thanks to its uniform shape and lack of tendency to cracking and bolting.

Varvara Krasa is distinguished by its sweet taste without bitterness and high carotenoid content, making it especially nutritious and delicious. The pulp is dense and juicy, allowing the carrot to be used for fresh consumption as well as for processing—making juices, canning, freezing, and winter storage. The variety is resistant to adverse conditions, ensuring a stable yield and good storage quality of the roots.

For growing 'Varvara Krasa' carrot, sowing in open ground in early spring is recommended, with the possibility of replanting in summer. Seeds are sown at a depth of 1-2 cm in furrows about 5 cm wide and spaced 20 cm apart. The plant prefers light loamy and sandy loam soils.
