Maestro F1

Maestro F1 is a late-maturing Nantes-type carrot hybrid developed by the Dutch breeding company Hazera and intended for open-field cultivation across Ukraine. The vegetation period is 120-130 days, allowing for a stable harvest of high-quality produce with high yield — approximately 4-5 kg per square meter. The seeds are suitable for various regions and ensure that the cultivated plants meet the specified characteristics.

The roots of this hybrid have a cylindrical shape, smooth and even, measuring about 20 cm in length and weighing 150-200 grams. Their bright orange color without greenish tinge indicates high carotene content — up to 13 mg — as well as sugar content — around 7%. The leafy canopy is dark green, well-attached to the root, facilitating harvest and reducing damage. The carrots are flavorful, do not crack or break during harvest.

The hybrid is resistant to several diseases, including Alternaria, spot disease, and silvering during storage, ensuring prolonged preservation of flavor and market appearance during transportation and storage. It is recommended to sow seeds in moist, warmed soil, regularly loosen the soil, thin out seedlings, treat for pests, and water as needed, avoiding overwatering. Maestro F1 is widely used in culinary applications for making juices, purees, salads, seasonings, and is suitable for canning and freezing.
